a bit about me and my blog

i am a writer, a visionary and a seeker of knowledge. i have a passion for all things creative, emotive and appealing to the heart and eye. fifteen shades of green is a place where i can express and share my love of nature, photography, motherhood, yoga, healthy eating, art, healthy living, travel and fashion. the many shades of green make up our world around us in nature, food, textures of clothing and so much more. green is the color which represents life. we eat, wear, photograph and inhabit this beautiful essence of color every day. this is the color i remember from my childhood. i grew up in the mountains of montana, off the grid, no electricity or running water. my family lived off the land. aspen trees, dirt roads and green forests were my playground. this is were i developed an incredible appreciation for nature and all things living. when i was seventeen i left my home in montana and set off to the city of boston. here i developed a love of art, culture, architecture and city life. this was the beginning of a lifelong love of travel and adventure. fifteen is my favorite number. it’s the day my beautiful daughter was born and the day i met my soul mate and love of my life (we both have green eyes). my husband and i love to travel to places off the beaten path and are always up for an adventure. more to come…a little hint (germany, italy, austria, tree houses, yurts, giant wine barrels…). fifteen shades of green is my story, my life, humbly intertwined and interconnected with yours. thank you for reading, connecting and sharing.
